Cambridge results days 2026-27

For the November 2026 series, Cambridge releases AS and A Level results on 7 January 2027 and IGCSE and O Level results on 14 January 2027, both at 06:00 GMT as Cambridge states it. For the June 2026 series, AS and A Level results came out on 11 August 2026 and IGCSE results on 18 August 2026. Cambridge has not yet announced June 2027 results dates; its pattern is mid-August, AS and A Level first. Schools, not Cambridge, give results to students, so ask your school how and when it will release them.

How results reach your child

Cambridge releases results to schools, and each school decides how to pass them on. Some ask students to collect a statement in person; others give students a password for Cambridge's secure candidate results website. Cambridge's own guidance to students is to ask the school when results will be available and how they will be received.

Cambridge gives the November 2026 release time as 06:00 GMT and asks candidates to convert it to their local time zone. What matters in practice is the time your school sets for releasing them.

The statement of results shows a grade for each syllabus. For IGCSE (A* to G), O Level and AS & A Level syllabuses it also shows a percentage uniform mark (PUM). The PUM is not the raw mark, and Cambridge says it cannot be compared with the grade threshold tables. IGCSE syllabuses graded 9 to 1 do not show a PUM.

What to do around results day

  • Before results day, ask the school how results will be released, at what time, and who to contact if a result is missing.
  • If a university needs grades quickly, ask the school about Cambridge's priority results service, which sends a provisional statement to named institutions on results day. Cambridge says UK university applicants do not need it, because it sends results to UCAS.
  • If a grade looks wrong, ask the school for the component marks and, if useful, a copy of the script through Access to Scripts before deciding on a review of marking.
  • If a resit makes sense, the next Cambridge series after January results is June 2027, with entries due in February 2027.

If results are below target

A disappointing January result is usually a planning question rather than a crisis: there is one more full series before most university and sixth-form deadlines close. A tutor can go through the component marks with your child, work out which paper cost the grade, and build a plan for the June 2027 resit around those papers.

LiveTutor lessons are one to one, 60 minutes and online, with tutors who teach the Cambridge syllabus your child is resitting.

Common questions

What time are Cambridge results released?

Cambridge's results page gives 06:00 GMT for the November 2026 series and asks candidates to convert this to local time. Your school then releases results to you at the time it sets.

When are Cambridge June 2027 results?

Cambridge has not announced them yet. In 2026, AS and A Level results came out on 11 August and IGCSE and O Level results on 18 August, so expect mid-August 2027 and check Cambridge's results page.

Can I get my Cambridge results directly from Cambridge?

Not usually. Cambridge sends results to schools, and schools issue them, either in person or with a password for Cambridge's secure results website. Private candidates get results from the centre that entered them.

Does Cambridge send A Level results to UCAS?

Yes. Cambridge says it sends all results to UCAS in time for UK university deadlines, so UK applicants do not need the priority results service.

Can LiveTutor help after a disappointing result?

Yes. A tutor reviews the component marks with your child and plans resit preparation for the weak papers. Lessons are $15 each on a weekly plan, and the first lesson is a free trial.
