Online tutoring for Dubai students
Dubai has one of the largest private school sectors in the world, and most of it teaches a British, IB or American curriculum. LiveTutor matches your child with a verified tutor who teaches that exact curriculum, then runs the lessons online so nobody spends an hour on Sheikh Zayed Road for a 55-minute session.

Schools and curricula
Dubai's private schools are regulated by KHDA, and the British curriculum is the most common choice, followed by Indian, IB and American programmes. In practice that means most tutoring requests we receive from Dubai are for IGCSE and GCSE subjects, A-Levels, and the IB Diploma.
Our tutors teach the same exam boards Dubai schools use: Cambridge (CAIE), Pearson Edexcel and AQA for the British stream, and the IB curriculum for Diploma students. When you tell us your child's school and year group, we match a tutor who already knows the specification, not a generalist who has to look it up.
Lesson times that fit
Dubai runs on GMT+4 with a Monday to Friday school week. A 5pm lesson after school in Dubai is 2pm in London during British summer time, which is normal working hours for our UK tutors. Weekend mornings work well for American tutors on the US east coast.
You book a fixed weekly slot or individual sessions, whichever suits your child's activity schedule. Lessons happen in our built-in classroom with video, a shared whiteboard and screen sharing. There is nothing to install and your child does not need a login.
Questions parents ask us
Do your tutors know the KHDA-regulated curricula Dubai schools follow?
Yes. We match by curriculum and exam board. For Dubai that usually means Cambridge or Edexcel IGCSE, A-Levels, or the IB Diploma, and the tutor you get teaches that specification every week.
What time are lessons available for Dubai students?
Most Dubai families book 4pm to 8pm GMT+4 on school days, which is afternoon working time for UK tutors. Weekend slots are also available, including mornings for US-based tutors.
How much does online tutoring cost in Dubai?
Sessions start at $19 per hour (about AED 70) depending on subject and level. You pay per session with no subscription, and the first 60-minute session is free.
Can we try a tutor before paying?
Yes. Every child gets one free 60-minute trial lesson. If the tutor is not the right fit, we rematch at no extra cost.
