Which countries does LiveTutor serve?

LiveTutor Middle East tutoring is an online tutoring service for families across the Gulf. LiveTutor serves the 6 countries listed on the LiveTutor Middle East page: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, covering cities including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Doha, Kuwait City, Manama and Muscat.

Lessons are scheduled in each family's own local timezone, between 8 AM and 10 PM across the GMT+3 to GMT+4 band the Gulf uses, so lessons land after school, in the evening or at the weekend. Every lesson is online and costs $15, the single rate on the LiveTutor pricing page. Families buy a weekly plan of 1 to 5 lessons a week, billed monthly, and book the times themselves from the tutor's published availability. Prices can be shown in AED, SAR, QAR, KWD, BHD, OMR, GBP or USD. Every family starts with a completely free trial lesson, there are 7 days to change your mind before your first paid lesson, and cancelling a lesson 48 hours or more ahead costs nothing.

What makes LiveTutor right for Gulf families?

You know who is teaching your child, what they sound like, and what it costs before you pay anything. Every lesson is one child with one tutor for 60 minutes: a group class moves at the group's pace, a one-to-one lesson moves at your child's.

Interviewed and approved

Every tutor's application, CV and voice introduction are read by our team, every tutor is interviewed, and nobody teaches until they have been approved by hand.

Accent checked by ear

Every tutor records a voice introduction and our team listens to it, so the British or American accent is verified before we match. You tell us which you prefer.

One to one, not a group

60 minutes of one tutor's full attention in our own online classroom, with video and a shared whiteboard. No group classes.

First lesson free

Meet your tutor in a full one-to-one lesson before anything is charged. If it is not right, take your money back within 7 days of it, before your first paid lesson.

French, Arabic and the Digital SAT, on one subject list

Most Gulf tutoring is built around maths and the sciences. LiveTutor teaches those too, and the three subjects families in the region are most often left to find elsewhere are on the same list, at the same $15 a lesson, from one account. A weekly plan can split its lessons between subjects, and several of our tutors also speak Arabic, so enquiries and scheduling can be handled in Arabic while lessons run in English.
