Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Level May/June 2027 timetable

Cambridge has not yet published the final timetable for the June 2027 series. Its 2026 calendar for schools says the final June 2027 timetable will be available to schools at the end of October 2026, after a provisional version went to schools in late May 2026. Until then, the June 2026 series is the best guide: written exams ran from 23 April to 9 June 2026, IGCSE Maths came in late April and early May, and science multiple-choice papers came last, in June. Entries for June 2027 open in mid-November 2026, with a February 2027 final deadline.

Where the June 2027 timetable stands

As of 6 October 2026, Cambridge's timetables page lists the June 2026 and November 2026 timetables for each zone, and no June 2027 timetable yet. Cambridge's 2026 monthly calendar for exams officers sets out the sequence: a provisional June 2027 timetable went to schools through Cambridge International Direct at the end of May 2026, with four weeks for comments, and the final June 2027 timetable and the Cambridge Guide to Making Entries are due at the end of October 2026.

The final timetable is the one to plan around. Last year's version followed the same rhythm: the final June 2026 timetable for Zone 4 is marked Version 1, October 2025.

When it appears, use the right zone. Cambridge places the UAE and Oman in Zone 4 and Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain in Zone 3. The zones share most dates but often differ in session (morning or afternoon) and in the paper variant a student sits.

Planning now, before the timetable is out

  • Confirm with the school which syllabuses, tiers (Core or Extended) and options your child is entered for. Tier decisions are hard to change after the February deadline without late fees.
  • Expect written papers to start in the last week of April. In 2026 IGCSE Maths and the science theory papers were among the first, so the Easter break is the last long stretch before the series.
  • Check public and religious holidays for spring 2027 against the published dates once they appear, and plan revision hours around them.
  • Coursework and speaking components have deadlines before the written papers. Ask the school for its internal dates.
  • Bookmark Cambridge's timetables page and check it at the start of November for the final version for your zone.

How tutoring fits a June exam year

From October to February, lessons do the most good when they rebuild the topics a student keeps losing marks on, while there is still time to practise them properly. From March, a tutor moves to full past papers, timed and marked against Cambridge mark schemes, in the order the papers will fall in the timetable.

LiveTutor lessons are 60 minutes, one to one and online, with tutors who teach the Cambridge syllabus your child is entered for. A weekly plan can be increased in the spring and reduced again after the exams.

We will update this page

When Cambridge publishes the final June 2027 timetables, this page will be updated with Zone 3 and Zone 4 dates. Until then, treat any website listing exact June 2027 Cambridge dates with caution and check Cambridge's own timetables page.

Common questions

When will the Cambridge June 2027 timetable be published?

Cambridge's 2026 calendar for exams officers says the final June 2027 timetable will be available to schools at the end of October 2026. It then appears on the public timetables page, one PDF per administrative zone.

When do Cambridge June exams usually start?

In the June 2026 series, timetabled exams started on 23 April and ended on 9 June 2026. Some practical and speaking components run earlier, inside test windows set out in the timetable.

What is the entry deadline for June 2027?

Cambridge says entries open in mid-November 2026 and the deadline for most entries is in February 2027. For June 2026 the final entries deadline was 21 February 2026, with late entries (at extra cost) accepted until 17 April 2026.

Is the June timetable the same for Dubai and Riyadh?

No. Dubai is in Zone 4 and Riyadh in Zone 3. Many papers share a date, but sessions and paper variants often differ, and some papers move days. Always use your own zone's timetable.

How much does LiveTutor cost for IGCSE or A Level preparation?

$15 a lesson for every subject and level, on a weekly plan of 1 to 5 lessons a week billed monthly. The first lesson is a free trial, one per household.
