Teaching with LiveTutor is a paid, one-to-one online tutoring role for tutors with a clear British or American accent and real teaching experience. LiveTutor tutors teach students in the 6 Gulf countries listed on the LiveTutor Middle East page, in 60 minute lessons held in the LiveTutor online classroom with video and a shared whiteboard.
Joining takes one application: a profile with a CV and a short voice introduction, then the tutor agreement signed online. LiveTutor tutors earn $7.50 per hour taught, a flat rate on every lesson, and set the weekly hours they are available. Booking requests arrive on WhatsApp and in the tutor portal, and completed lessons are paid out by bank transfer on request. A family's first lesson is free to them and funded by the platform, so trial lessons are paid to the tutor at the same rate as any other lesson.
