Qudurat and Tahsili preparation in Riyadh: online tutoring

Riyadh secondary students take the General Aptitude Test (Qudurat) and the Achievement Test (Tahsili), both set by Qiyas at the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC). For 1448 the paper Qudurat is scheduled for 10 to 14 December 2026, the digital version runs through the year at computer-based centres, and each student has five attempts in total. Tahsili dates for 1448 had not been announced by early October 2026. LiveTutor can help with the maths behind the quantitative section and Tahsili's maths and science, but lessons in Arabic depend on our small number of Arabic-speaking tutors, so ask before you book.

Qudurat 1448 in Riyadh: what is confirmed

ETEC opened registration for the 1448 paper Qudurat in mid-September 2026, with male and female students registering on different days, and set the paper test window for 10 to 14 December 2026. The paper test is for third-year secondary students; second- and third-year students can also book the digital test at ETEC's computer-based centres across the Kingdom, including Riyadh, at times through the year. Every student has five attempts in all, with no more than four in either format.

In Riyadh, choose the test location and date when you register. Popular slots near the end of the semester fill quickly, so book the digital test as soon as your child is ready rather than waiting for the last window before university applications.

How online preparation works, and its limits

The quantitative section and Tahsili maths reward speed with basic tools: fractions and percentages, ratio, linear equations, area and angles, and reading a table or chart in seconds. A tutor builds that fluency with short timed sets, then teaches the student to spot which questions to skip and return to. For Tahsili science, lessons revise the secondary physics, chemistry and biology the test covers, topic by topic, from the first secondary year onwards.

Both tests are taken in Arabic. Our tutors mostly teach in English, and we have only a small number of Arabic-speaking tutors, so Arabic-language Qudurat and Tahsili lessons depend on who is available. The verbal section in particular needs an Arabic-speaking teacher. Tell us when you book, and we will tell you honestly whether we can help or whether your child would be better served elsewhere for that part.
