How to register for Qudurat step by step (1448)

Registration for Qudurat is done on ETEC's Sadeed platform (sadeed.etec.gov.sa). Sign in with Nafath or the student's national ID or iqama and password, open the tests card, choose paper or digital registration, pick the General Aptitude Test, then choose the city, date, centre and time and pay. The booking is only confirmed once paid, by card or mada, SADAD bill or Apple Pay. For the 1448 paper test (10 to 14 December 2026), registration opened on 14 September for boys and 16 September for girls, with late registration from 1 November. The student must be in Grade 11, Grade 12 or a graduate.

Before you start

  • The student's own national ID or iqama number. Register the student, not the parent: the result is tied to that ID.
  • Access to Nafath on the phone linked to that ID, or the Sadeed password for the account.
  • Correct school data on the account. Sadeed has a service to update the educational data of school students if the grade shows wrongly.
  • A payment method: credit card or mada, a SADAD bill, or Apple Pay on a supported Apple device.
  • Know which version your child needs: scientific (General, Health and Life Sciences, Computer and Engineering tracks) or theoretical (Sharia and Business Administration tracks).

Registering for the paper Qudurat, step by step

Changing, cancelling and other services

Once paid, an appointment can be changed from the registered tests list in the Qiyas profile: pick the test, press edit, choose a new centre, date and time, and confirm. You can print the updated registration notice from the same screen. A booking can also be deleted inside the same deadlines. If the student has a disability and needs arrangements on the day, Sadeed has a separate request service where you describe what is needed and attach up to three supporting documents. Exemption from the test itself is handled by the Ministry of Education's special education department, not by ETEC.

Students outside Saudi Arabia, and some residents without a Nafath login, can create an account through Sadeed's account services. Sadeed also lists a fee exemption service for those eligible for support; check the conditions on the platform before paying.

Common registration mistakes

  • Leaving payment for later. Unpaid bookings are deleted, and in the paper window the best centres fill first.
  • Missing early registration. Waiting until late registration opens on 1 November costs an extra SAR 50 for the paper test.
  • Booking the wrong version. A Sharia or Business Administration track student should sit the theoretical version.
  • Using a photo or expired ID on the day. ETEC accepts only an original, valid plastic card or passport; work and university cards are refused.
  • Booking digital Qudurat in the same week as school finals. Check the school's exam timetable first.

After registering: using the time well

Registration is the easy part. What changes the score is regular timed practice on the question types, especially analogy, reading comprehension and arithmetic. A one-to-one tutor can turn the weeks between booking and test day into a plan: a first diagnostic section, then weekly targets on the weakest question type, and two or three full timed papers before the test. Lessons are online, so they can sit around school and a Saudi family's evening routine without travel.

Common questions

Where do I register for Qudurat?

On ETEC's Sadeed platform at sadeed.etec.gov.sa. Choose paper or digital test registration under the tests card.

Can a parent register on behalf of a child?

The booking must be made in the student's own Qiyas account, under the student's ID or iqama, because results are linked to that ID. A parent can sit with the child and complete the steps together.

What happens if I do not pay straight away?

The booking is not confirmed until payment is complete, and ETEC deletes unpaid bookings automatically.

Can I change my Qudurat date after paying?

Yes, up to 72 hours before a paper test and 48 hours before a digital test, from the registered tests list in Sadeed.

How much do LiveTutor Qudurat lessons cost?

Each 60-minute one-to-one lesson is $15, on a weekly plan of 1 to 5 lessons billed monthly. You can cancel or reschedule a lesson for free with 48 hours' notice. The first lesson is a free trial.
